On the afternoon of the 21st of february 2018 a fire in a warehouse next to the factory area of our chemical factory was detected, which quickly developed into a full blaze.

The chemical factory Schärer & Schläpfer AG was not affected by this major fire.

The deployed fire departments were also deployed across our factory premises, and ongoing production was prophylactically shut down. Therefore, restrictions on current deliveries, for which the affected customers are individually informed, remain reserved.
